Senator Shehu Sani, has advised former Niger Delta Militant Leader, Asari Dokubo to cool down over his attack on President Tinubu.
He made the assertion in an X post on Sunday.
He also advised that the rewards of some sacrifices comes in spiritual forms and not in vanities.
“Comrade Asari should cool down, the rewards for some sacrifices comes in spiritual forms and not in vanities.” He wrote.
NPO reports that Dokubo had accused the president of betrayal and neglect.
He apologized to past Ijaw leaders who he had condemned for forming alliance with the North
He claimed that he spent his money canvassing for votes for Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election, only to be abandoned.
“Today, I feel that I apologize to our fathers that they are not wrong in forming alliance with the North. And as young men, we will do the same.
“As I am now from today, I will work and form alliance with the North and to crush all other oppositions plus those who hate us.
“Whatever we do to them does not mean anything to them. Whatever Ijaw people do to them does not mean anything.
“All over Ijaw land, we take this message that is only the Northerners that can work with Ijaw people.
“We cannot work with Yoruba people. They are betrayals to us. We risked our lives voted, did everything and this is what we get?” Dokubo said.
