Grades Community Road in Osun
A former House of Assembly aspirant in Iwo, Barr Segun Obiwusi, has urged political office holders across the country to fulfill their promises to improve the lives of the people.
This, Obiwusi said would endear them to the electorate.
Obiwusi made this call during the weekend while overseeing the grading of selected roads in the Adeeke area of Iwo.
In a statement by his media aide, Ishola Adekanmi, Obiwusi emphasized the imperative for political office holders to recognize their current positions as avenues for aiding their communities
“See the electorates as the backbone behind your success in life; they deserve a good life,” stressed Hon. Segun Obiwusi
He urged leaders to perceive themselves as messengers to the electorate, noting that another election is on the horizon.
“Give back to your community and prioritize their well-being,” he concluded.
Speaking, a community leader in the area, Mr. Razak Alamu praised Obiwusi for his assistance in grading the area, noting that this wasn’t the first time Obiwusi had reached out to them regarding road improvements and other amenities.

Alamu encouraged Obiwusi to continue his efforts in aiding the community and urged other leaders to emulate him by addressing the needs of the people.
The grading, covering five different streets and totaling a distance of 5 kilometers, exemplified Obiwusi’s commitment to community development.
Recall that Obiwusi previously supplied no fewer than 10 streetlights to the identical community.
It’s also worth mentioning that Obiwusi, through his foundation named Omo Oloore, demonstrated his philanthropy in December 2023 by donating 200,000 for the upgrading of the Iwo stadium during the Iwo Day celebration.
Additionally, he has previously supported orphanages and a school for the deaf and dumb in the community by providing essential educational materials such as textbooks, notebooks, desks, chairs, and more.
