Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, have on Tuesday held a closed-door meeting with former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd).
Atiku and Makinde reportedly paid a courtesy visit to Babangida at his hilltop residence in Minna, Niger State.
The trio would however engage in private discussion off media coverage.
According to reports, sources familiar with the visit described it as a high-level consultation on key national issues ahead of future political engagements.
The discussions were said to have centred on electoral reforms, particularly the ongoing debate over electronic transmission of election results.
Other issues reportedly reviewed include recent tax policies and broader governance concerns affecting the country.
