Former Nigerian Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has mourned the passing of his childhood friend, Suleiman Jada.
Atiku announced the demise of Jada in a post shared on his X handle on Wednesday.
The friend of the ex-Vice President reportedly passed away at the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola, Adamawa State.
While expressing his sadness over Jada’s demise, Atiku said he will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and contributions to the community.
He prayed to God for the forgiveness of his shortcomings and strength to the grieving family and loved ones.
“I just received with deep sadness the news of the passing of Alhaji Muhammad Baba Suleiman Jada (MB Suleiman Jada), a beloved childhood friend of mine, who departed this world at the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola.
“Alhaji MB Suleiman Jada will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and contributions to his community. His loss is deeply felt by family, friends, and all who knew him.
“I pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Jannatul Firdaus, and gives his loved ones the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss. May Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon him. Ameen.” Atiku wrote.
