The Police Command in Lagos State has confirmed that a man allegedly jumped into a canal and died to avoid arrest in the Ipaja area of the state. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned that the African Region may face a staggering shortage of 5.3 million health professionals by 2030 if urgent interventions are not implemented to address the existing gaps.
