The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Kano State Command, has arrested 34 suspects with different quantities of illicit substances in the state. ASN Sadiq Muhammad-Maigatari, the command’s spokesman disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Kano. His appointment is set to take place with immediate effect following the voluntary retirement of Dr Abdullahi Rabi’u Kontagora on 6th of December 2024. Dozens of people have died after a passenger plane crashed with 67 people on board in Kazakhstan, local officials say. The country’s emergency ministry said there were 25 survivors. The plane, operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, caught fire as it went down near the city of Aktau. The cause of the crash is not know.
