President Bola Tinubu has stated that he has no regrets removing the fuel subsidy. He made he assertion during his first media chat session with journalists on Monday night. Speaking on the removal of fuel subsidy, he stated that the move was necessary. “I don’t have any regret whatsoever removing subsidy, it is necessary. “We can’t be subsidizing the entire West Africa sub region. “Either we slice it in half or bits, we still have to completely remove it.”
A Federal High Court in Abuja, has ordered the arraignment of Nigerian singer Darlington Okoye, better known as Speed Darlington, after he had been detained by the police for nearly a month. Agency Report A Federal High Court in Abuja, has on Monday ordered the remand of four suspected terrorists linked to notorious bandit kingpin, Bello Turji, in Kuje Correctional Centre. Justice Emeka Nwite, in a short ruling, made the order after the defendants pleaded not guilty to the 11-count charge bordering on terrorism.
