NPO Reported that London-bound Air India plane carrying 242 people had crashed shortly after take-off in Ahmedabad, western India. The last surviving female twin to be rescued by Mary Slessor, a Scottish Missionary in Arochukwu Ancient Kingdom of Abia, over a decade ago, Madam Malinda Mgbafor Okereke, otherwise called Mama Nsu Bekee, is dead. The stock market opened the week on a downturn Tuesday, with key performance indicators dropping by 0.53 per cent after the Eid-el-Kabir holiday break. Agency Report Some ram sellers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Wednesday attributed the high cost of rams to insecurity and low supply from the Northwest.
