The Ogun State Government has shut down Obada Grammar School, Obada, Idi-emi over the death of Master Monday Arijo, an SS2 student of the school. This was contained in a release made available to NPO Reports on Tuesday. NPO reports that Arijo died after being hospitalised following his collapse when he was asked to perform 162 frog jumps and beaten 24 strokes of the cane. The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has officially unveiled the JRandle Centre for Yoruba Culture and Heritage’s Museum. This was disclosed by the Governor’s spokesperson, Gboyega Akosile, in an X post. He noted that the museum is now open for use of the general public.
