Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering the proposed Lekki International Airport and other landmark infrastructure projects across the state. It said that this would strengthen accountability and transparency among the Journalism professionals. Agency Report The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has expressed concern over the proposal by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) for the death penalty for those involved in the sale of counterfeit drugs. Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Police Command in Lagos State have arrested a suspect, who specializes in dealing in fake alcoholic drinks. RRS confirmed the arrest in a post shared on its X handle @rrsLagos767 on Wednesday. An Abuja High Court on Tuesday, threatened to revoke the bail it granted to Yisa Usman, the sacked Deputy Director, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), over behaviour considered to be improper. Justice H.A. Musa, who cautioned Usman, granted the oral application by N. Orji, the prosecution lawyer, to commence the trial following the breakdown of out-of-court settlement.
