No fewer than 50 alleged members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been discharged and acquitted of allegations bordering on terrorism by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday. Justice James Omotosho, in a judgment, held that the Nigerian Police Force failed, in its entirety, to established a prima facie case against the 50 defendants, including four women. The United Bank for Africa (UBA) has announced that it has signed a business cooperation deal to commence full banking operations in France. The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Mr Ahmed Dangiwa, has revealed that the Federal Government is funding 12 Renewed Hope Estates through the N50 billion allocation in the 2023 supplementary budget. A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday, ordered the Inspector-General (I-G) of Police, Mr Kayode Egbetokun, to produce two foreign nationals; Etienne Rocher and Pawan Kapur, alongside others, before it for arraignment.
