The Appeal court sitting in Lagos has acquitted Lagos based doctor, Olufemi Olaleye, of rape and sexual assault. No fewer than 50 alleged members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been discharged and acquitted of allegations bordering on terrorism by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday. Justice James Omotosho, in a judgment, held that the Nigerian Police Force failed, in its entirety, to established a prima facie case against the 50 defendants, including four women.
