This was disclosed in a post on EFCC’s official X handle on Friday. Khama fled the southern African country in 2021 following criminal charges as he claimed his life was in danger after a fallout with President Mokgweetsi Masisi. As seen in a viral video on X, the rescue boat crashed with an electric pole while transiting rescue team and victims across a flooded street. This was disclosed by the Agency’s Director General, Zubaida Umar, in a statement on her X handle on Thursday.
