Safiu Kehinde A 71-year-old man, Sule Adeola, has been sentence to life imprisonment by an Ekiti State High Court in Ado-Ekiti for raping best friend’s granddaughter. The convict was arraigned before Justice Blessing Ajileye on June 22, 2023, on a charge of raping the minor. This was disclosed in a statement issued on the anti-graft agency’s official X handle on Wednesday. Agency Report The Police Command in Rivers has refuted claims that its officers sealed off the office of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC). There were earlier reports that the RSIEC secretariat in Port Harcourt was sealed following a Federal High Court order halting the local government council elections scheduled for Oct. 5. However, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the command’s spokesperson, told journalists in Port Harcourt that the reports were false. Davido made the announcement in a post on his Instagram handle on Tuesday. He uploaded a snippet of the much-awaited music video featuring Kidjo. Recall that Beninoise singer had last week disclosed the released date of the video which was slated for today.
