Agency Report The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) says 25,847 metres were installed under the National Mass Metering Programme ( NMMP) framework in 2023. The commission said this on its website in its 2023 Annual Report in Abuja on Tuesday. The report showed that Yola, Eko and Benin Electricity Distribution Company (DisCos) had the highest number of meter installations. It showed that Yola DisCo installed 16,574 meters, Eko DisCo installed 6,324 meters and Benin DisCo installed 2,314meters. Safiu Kehinde Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has disclosed the impoundment of over 488 vehicles for violating the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lane. This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by the agency’s Director of Public Affairs and Enlightment, Adebayo Taofiq.
