This was confirmed by Kano state Police Command Spokesman, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa. Agency Report The Imo House of Assembly, on Tuesday, hailed the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC) for the successful conduct of Saturday’s Local Government Elections in the state. The House commendation came, following a motion moved by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr Amarachi Iwuanyanwu. Iwuanyanwu said that the election produced 27 Chairmen and 305 Councillors. This was disclosed by the Director of Army Public Relations, Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, while addressing journalists in Abuja on Tuesday.
