Tragedy has struck Monday afternoon as founder of the African Independent Television AIT, Chief Raymond Dokpesi has died. NPO Reports that Dokpesi was everywhere MOnday morning and was not having any health concerns . The appointments were those of the State Chief of Protocol, Presidential Spokesman and the Special Assistant Digital Media . Nigeria’s new president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday announced that fuel subsidy has been removed. The new president, shortly after he took oath of office, said the budget he has glimpsed shows there is no provision for the fuel subsidy saying that subsidy is gone. “Subsidy can no longer justify the ever increasing cost in the wake of drying resources. We shall instead, re-channel whatever for better use.” He said areas where such resources would be channeled include education, agriculture and provision of critical infrastructures.

Buhari and his wife, Aisha left the venue of the swearing in ceremony and headed to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport where some people were waiting to officially see him off to Daura.
