It was gathered that the former lawmaker who represented Ika Federal Constituency in Delta state was watching the match but reportedly developed complications after a penalty was awarded against Nigeria. The family was yet to make any statement at the time of filing this report. Ojuogboh was a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress before his death.

Mali said on Wednesday that it would not wait a year to leave the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), as is required by the bloc’s treaty.
