At least, 31 people have been confirmed dead during a stampede at a church in Port Harcourt ,Rivers State Capital. The stampede happened at The Kings Assembly located inside the GRA of the Capital city. The accreditation of national delegates for the 2022 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention has commenced at Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that delegates from different states of the federation are arriving the venue for accreditation. A two-week warning strike by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP which started on the 16th of May has been suspended.
