Governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu is back in Nigeria. This was a day after his wife Betty posted a video of the Governor where she is also denied her husband was dead. A media reports (Not in NPO Reports) had written last week the Governor had died abroad. A statement by his media aide had however stated that Akeredolu only went abroad on vacation. A video sighted by the NPO Reports show the Governor arriving at the Muritala Mohammed International Aipport Ikeja. He was being accompanied by some aides while some security operatives could be seen saluting him.
Kano State Deputy Governor Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna on Sunday resigned as the Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Clashes have taken place for a fourth day in several Swedish cities, sparked by the apparent burning of a Quran by a far-right, anti-immigrant group. Local media said three people were injured in the eastern city of Norrköping on Sunday when police fired warning shots at rioters.
