A 19-month old baby has died in Delta State after being given 31strokes of the cane in school. The proprietress of the school and the teacher are said to have been arrested by the state command of the police. Identified as Obinna was said to have died apparently from the pains of the alleged 31 strokes of the cane. The deceased was said to have been punished for playing with water and getting wet in the process. The Lagos state government says it had directed the prosecution of the developer of the three-storey building under construction that collapsed in Onike area of the state, on Saturday, killing two persons. The UK tax authority has seized three Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) as part of a probe into a suspected a VAT fraud involving 250 alleged fake companies. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) said three people had been arrested on suspicion of attempting to defraud it of £1.4m. The authority said it was the first UK law enforcement to seize an NFT.
