According to information gathered by NPO Reports, the incident occurred around 6 on Saturday. Recall that the incident occurred at a tank farm in Marine Beach, Apapa, Lagos. This was contained in a statement signed by the company’s spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye. Contrary to earlier reports, the depot belongs to HOGL energy Ltd (Honeywell Depot). The State’s NSCDC Commandant, Mr Yakubu Ibrahim, stated this on Friday, when he conducted newsmen round the depot to see the level of destruction to the pipeline (Yola line) by the vandals.
