The Nigerian Governors’ Forum on Thursday declared their support for the ongoing tax reforms in the country just as they released a revised sharing formula for the Value Added Tax (VAT). NPO Reports that the tax reform has remained a major cause of agitation since the committee handling it was set up by President Bola Tinubu. In a rare manifestation of goodluck and perhaps answered prayers, an unidentified passenger on the ill-fated Azerbaijan Airlines flight J2-8243 is among the 28 that survived the crash. Communities in Sokoto State have differed over the bombing of communities which have claimed many lives in the state.
