He reportedly slumped on Tuesday and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention. He died on Wednesday. NPO Reports learnt had suffered stroke and was undergoing treatment. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has been shot multiple times, in what the Slovak Interior Ministry said was an assassination attempt. The United Nations has said that an Indian staff member’s death this week in Gaza was caused by an Israeli tank attack on his vehicle. Col Waibhav Kale, a former Indian army officer, died on Monday after a UN vehicle was struck near the city of Rafah. Another staffer was injured. Netflix is finalizing a deal to buy exclusive rights to stream two National Football League (NFL) games on Christmas Day, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, doubling down on efforts to add more live programming on its streaming services. The company will pay less than $150 million per game, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter. Ibrahim who is representing Ondo South Senatorial District was suspended on Wednesday following a notice by 16 APC executive members of Igbotako Ward 11 in Okitipupa Local Goverment Area of the state. This was contained in its latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) report released on Wednesday. Comparing year-on-year data, the inflation rate in April 2024 was 11.47 percentage points higher than in April 2023, where it stood at 22.22 per cent.
