Cardoso announced the retention of the Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) of deposit money banks at 45 percent. However, the MPC adjusted the CRR of merchant banks from 10 percent to 14 percent. A national of China who murdered his Nigerian lover has been sentenced to death. By Kamil Opeyemi Justice Sanusi Ado Ma’aji of Kano state High Court who handed down the death sentence found Quandong Geng guilty of killing his girlfriend, Ummulkusum Sani Buhari Ummita.
