This was made available to NPO Reports on Thursday, stating that 1200 African entrepreneurs across 54 African countries. Agency Report The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), says the average retail price of a litre of kerosene increased from N1,329 recorded in January 2024 to N1,340 in February 2024. The bureau said this in its Petrol Price Watch for February 2024, released in Abuja on Thursday. It said the February price of N1, 340 represented a 0.86 per cent decrease compared to what was obtained in January. Agency Report The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says all valid foreign exchange backlogs have now been settled. This is according to a statement by CBN’s Acting Director, Corporate Communications, Mrs Hakama Sidi. Sidi said that the step was in fulfilment of a key pledge of the CBN Governor, Yemi Cardoso, to process an inherited backlog of seven billion dollars in claims. She said that the CBN recently concluded the payment of 1.5 billion to settle obligations to bank customers, effectively settling the residual balance of the fx backlog.
