Haiti’s Prime Minister Ariel Henry has landed in Puerto Rico after apparently being unable to return to his country. According to local media, he arrived in the capital San Juan on Tuesday after flying from the US state of New Jersey. The closure of the Third Mainland Bridge continues today as the Ministry of Works said rehabilitation works would continue. The ministry said traffic would be restricted from Lagos Island to Iyana Oworo on the Third Mainland Bridge from 12.00 a.m on Wednesday, to allow for repairs. The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, Mrs Olukorede Kesha, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday night in Lagos. Agency report The House of Representatives has resolved to investigate the national security implications of the current status of Cryptocurrency, block chain, and other digital asset transactions. This followed the adoption of a motion by Rep. Isiaka Ibrahim (APC-Ogun), during plenary in Abuja. Moving the motion, Isiaka said that the growing global concerns about the national security implications of cryptocurrency transactions through cryptocurrency exchanges including consumer and investor security. State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, gave the directive in Ibadan on Tuesday while on an inspection tour of Ojoo area of the state.
