…Vows to Clear Backlog of Pensions By Halimah Olamide Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has vowed to ensure payment of all outstanding pensioned owed retirees in the state. The governor said having paid N3.20 billion into the RSA of 1,013 retirees as accrued pension right for the month of February, the state government would pay N4 billion in March and another N3 billion in April to settle the debt. The commission said the arrest was sequel to credible information on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences. These were disclosed by the commission’s spokesman Mr. Dele Oyewale. Agency Report Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd., operator of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), Ikeja, has warned aggrieved passengers never to resort to violence and destruction of airport property following flight disruptions. Mrs Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi, Bi-Courtney’s Head of Corporate Communications, said in a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos on Friday that the company would not tolerate destruction of airport property.
