The decision was announced by the National Executive Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress on Wednesday saying the suspension followed the intervention of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shifted the collation of the governorship election results in Bayelsa State to Sunday. INEC Returning Officer, Prof Farouk Kuta, disclosed this Saturday night while briefing reporters at the state headquarters of the commission in Yenagoa.
