It was learnt that the plane, which had left Abuja for Ibadan arrived safely only to skid off the runway after a forced landing. The plane had reportedly overshot the runway entering into the nearby bush according to eyewitness accounts. Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State signed Executive Order 3 on Friday at Ikeja to establish the Lagos International Financial Centre (LIFC) Council. The council would help to align strategic partnerships that contribute to the economic prosperity of Lagos State and that of Nigeria. Troops neutralised seven bandits in Kaduna State between Wednesday and Friday. Spokesman of 1 Division Nigerian Army, Lt.-Col Musa Yahaya, stated on Friday in Kaduna that troops of the division neutralised four of the bandits on Wednesday at Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of the state. He explained that during the operation, the troops recovered one AK 47 rifle, one AK 47 magazine, one machete, one mobile phone and 14 motorcycles from the criminals. National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Nasarawa State Command has arrested two men on the Keffi – Nasarawa Road for being in possession of illegal firearm.
