The organization said the substance has incendiary properties that are capable of permanently destroying targets. The Competition Markets Authority (CMA) said the updated bid had addressed concerns, after it blocked the original $69bn (£59bn) deal in April. Head of Press and Public Relations at the PSC, Mr Ikechukwu Ani, announced the PSC’s decision in a statement he issued on Thursday in Abuja. Ani stated that 5,718 senior police officers comprising of both general duty and specialist cadres of the Force were promoted. The Commander, NNS BEECROFT, Commodore Kolawole Oguntuga, said this in a statement on Thursday in Lagos, by the Base Information Officer, Sub-Lt. Happiness Collins. The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) has confirmed Dr kayode Ajulo, a constitutional lawyer and 57 others as Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs). The Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) on Thursday says it has restored regulatory services to one of its licensees, Globacom Ltd., a telecommunications company after it successfully cleared its outstanding debt. This was made known in a statement signed by the Director, Public Affairs at NCC, Mr Reuben Muoka. It said that the Telco had obligations to the Commission for unpaid Spectrum Fees, Numbering Fees and Annual Operating Levy (AOL). A former NFL player has been charged with the murder of his mother after being arrested in California on Tuesday. Authorities had been searching for Sergio Brown since his mother Myrtle Brown, 73, was found dead near her home outside of Chicago last month. He will be extradited to Illinois to face charges of first-degree murder, police said. Mr Brown played for four professional teams during a six-year career.
