The Katsina State Government, has dissolved the management of the Katsina United FC of Katsina with immediate effect. This is contained in a statement by the state’s Commissioner for Sports, Malam Yusuf Rabiu-Jirdede on Wednesday in Katsina. He said that the dissolution was part of government efforts to reinvigorate the club for better performance at the league. The NECO Registrar, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, announcing the result at a news conference in Minna, Niger, on Tuesday said the 2023 SSCE was the best in recent years.
