Mohbad died on September 12, 2023 in circumstances that have led to police investigations. Enugu State Police Command has paraded 92 crime suspects arrested in different parts of the state for various offences, including murder, armed robbery, kidnapping and cultism. Exhibits recovered from the suspects include four AK-47 rifles, 66 firearms of different calibres, 333 live ammunition of different calibres, 25 vehicles and other incriminating items. By Kamil Opeyemi A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday, dismissed a suit seeking disqualification of Mr Timipre Sylva from contesting Nov. 11 Bayelsa governorship poll. Justice Inyang Ekwo, in a judgment, held that the plaintiff, Mrs Ogbomade Johnson, failed to prove the case upon preponderance of evidence as required by law. “The case therefore fails for lacking in merit. “Consequently, I make an order dismissing the case of the plaintiff for lacking in merit. “This is the order of this court,” Justice Ekwo declared. Justice Emeka Nwite, in a ruling shortly after Aiyedatiwa’s counsel, Kayode Adewusi, moved the ex-parte motion to the effect. The judge also restrained Gov. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has issued an advisory to motorists and diverted traffic along Enugu–Port Harcourt Dual Carriage Expressway after a collapsed flyover fridge. The Corps Public Relations Officer (CPEO) Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Bisi Kazeem, said this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja. Kazeem said the collapsed bridge was at new Artisan Market on the Port Harcourt-Enugu dual carriage way in Enugu State.
