NPOReports gathered that the cause of the fire was electrical from one of the Chambers of the Justices and was put out with the use of fire extinguishers. Residents of Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State, on Sunday commended the police, army and members of a vigilance group for repelling Saturday’s kidnap attempt at Tijjani Malumfashi Housing Estate. About 50 suspected kidnappers attacked residents of the housing estate and attempted to kidnap a number of its residents on Saturday. FCT Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike, has approved a three-month grace period for owners of 189 undeveloped plots of land in the territory to begin to develop them or get their allocation papers revoked.
