The victims also include other three Fouani brothers who are all Lebanese. By Halimah Olamide Super Eagles acting Technical Adviser George Finidi has quit his job. The development comes less than two months after he was named as the acting coach. The 53-year-old Finidi was appointed in interim capacity after the departure of the Portuguese following Nigeria’s defeat by Ivory Coast in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final in February. Though the Nigerian Football Federation is yet to confirm the development, Finidi confirmed it when he was asked by Channels Television on Saturday.

Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja discharged Gambaryan and his colleague, Nadeem Anjarwalla, who had fled months ago. They were discharged from the alleged tax evasion charge preferred against the company by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
