The security guard, Femi Oladoye, and the others were charged with conspiracy and murder. By Kamil Opeyemi No fewer than One Hundred suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC at different locations in Enugu State. The suspects were arrested in early morning sting operations on Wednesday, May 5, 2024, following actionable intelligence about suspected activities of an organised syndicate of internet fraudsters operating along Ibagwa-Nike and other locations in the Enugu metropolis. The commission said items recovered from them include three exotic cars, mobile phones and laptops. The suspects will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of the investigations.

The Congress took exception to Akpabio’s allegations that workers are saboteurs for the manner they have executed their the ongoing national strike. The world’s fossil fuel industries should be banned from advertising to help save the world from climate change, the head of the United Nations said on Wednesday. UN Secretary General António Guterres called coal, oil and gas corporations the “godfathers of climate chaos” who had distorted the truth and deceived the public for decades. A major cause of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has been discovered by UK scientists. They found a weak spot in our DNA that is present in 95% of people with the disease. It makes it much easier for some immune cells to go haywire and drive excessive inflammation in the bowels.
