Odibo Victory The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise and introduced self-service registration for first time voters. Based on feedbacks the commission received from its state offices, political parties, civil society associations and other stakeholders, the commission had extended the CVR exercise by two weeks. A rare surviving copy of the Declaration of Independence has been discovered at The National Archives in Kew, the only known example of its kind outside the US. The document was uncovered by a volunteer in February while cataloguing the papers of Royal Navy captains from the American Revolutionary War. It is one of 11 copies printed in Exeter, New Hampshire in July 1776 to spread news of American independence through the colonies before it was seized by British forces. Odibo Victory Educationist, Mayor Tajudeen Ojeifo has died at the age of 73. Tajudeen was a retired vice principal and respected teacher who was part of the education community in Edo North. In a statement issued on behalf of the family by his son, Mr. Frank Ojeifo, the educationist died in Agbede on Saturday, June 27, after a protracted illness.
