A private community security network under the leadership of the self-acclaimed Yoruba interest advocate, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho, has claimed the arrest of some persons suspected to be bandits and kidnappers in a forest close to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
This was seen in a viral video where the vigilante were seen beating the alleged bandits.
Members of the vigilante group said that the suspected bandits and kidnappers they tracked down were allegedly hiding in a bush in Ibadan.
According to the vigilante group, the suspects allegedly opened fire during the operation, prompting an exchange before they were overpowered and taken into custody.
