Odibo Victory The Lagos State Government has on Tuesday announced a temporary Shut down of the Iddo Bridge in Ijora, Apapa Local Government Area, following ongoing construction work. It said the closure is to facilitate installation of heavy steel bridge beams, as part of ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction works on the bridge. Agency Reports Agriculture stakeholders have commended the Federal Government’s move to improve the acceptance of Nigerian food exports in the international market. The stakeholders made the commendation in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos. NAN reports that the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security recently inaugurated a Technical Working Group on Agricultural Produce Residue Standards. Agency Report The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has arrested more than 80,000 suspected drug offenders between January 2021 and May 2026. The Director, Media and Advocacy of the agency, Mr Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Abuja. These suspects were linked to culpable homicide, four suspected car snatchers and recovered four stolen vehicles.
