According to reports, the girls who were rescued are between the ages of 12 and 16. After the ring was raided, the Lagos Police launched investigations to unravel the network behind the operation. Madaki, whose address was not disclosed is standing trial on charges bordering on conspiracy and theft He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The Ogun State Police Command has foiled an attempt to smuggle a stolen company bus into the Benin Republic and arrested two suspects linked to the crime.
