Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, and his Oyo state counterpart, Seyi Makinde, have forced their ways into the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Headquarters in Abuja for the inaugural National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the newly elected leaders of the party.
The governors had defied the defied rioting supporters while also daring security aides of the expelled factional members of the party to shoot them.
As captured in a video shared on X, a team of police operatives within the Wadata Plaza held the gate shut against Bala, Makinde, and their supporters.
They were however overpowered by the group as the gate was forced open.
Bala Mohammed could be spotted pushing one of the members of the party as he made his through to the complex.
Further clash would erupt between the group supporting the newly elected National Chairman of the party, Kabiru Turaki, and the faction led by the expelled National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, who had arrived earlier at the secreatriat.
