Popular Nigerian comedian John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu has reportedly died.
News of his death has taken over the airwaves even as family sources decline to confirm as at press time Saturday evening.
NPO Reports that Okafor’s leg was recently amputated when doctors said the action was to save his life.
He came out of the hospital some weeks ago after many months in hospital.
His reported death is coming same day another actor of the Yoruba acting stock, Tolani Quadri Oyebanji popularly caller Sisi Quadri, was buried in his Iwo Osun state home.
He died on Friday at a hospital in Ogbomoso.
