The elite residential area Banana Island of Lagos State Wednesday witnessed a tragic collapse as a seven storey building came down .
An uncertain number of construction workers were said to be trapped under the rubles.
The spokesperson for the Lagos Fire Service and Rescue Service, Amodu Shakiri, confirmed the incident.
A video of the collapse seen by the NPO Reports showed that the structure came down all at once.
