Breaking! ASUU Set To Suspend Strike for Three Months
Following the meeting held with the federal government delegation today,the Academic Staff Union of Universities has said it’s considering suspending the strike for a period of three months
This was revealed in a post sent to it’s social media handles after the meeting noted that the agreement will only last for three months and if the government fails to meet up with the demands,the industrial action continue.
“In View: ASUU to consider suspending strike for a grace period of 3 months with option to begin indefinite strike if Fed Govt fails to meet demand.
“If this proposal is accepted, students may be asked to return to campus from Monday”.
