The Federal Government on Tuesday announced that it has extended the public holiday for Eid-il- Fitr to Thursday.
The Government had earlier announced Tuesday and Wednesday as days for the public holidays.
However many began to criticize the Minister of Interior for allegedly not calculating well before the declaration.
The Ramadan fasting ends effectively today while Muslims are expected to file to praying grounds tomorrow (Wednesday) for the annual prayer marking the end of fasting.
The Federal Government has approved Thursday 11th April, 2024 as an additional public holiday to celebrate this year’s Eid -El-Fitr.
