A Nigerian actor who has been bedridden Amaechi Muonargor has reportedly passed on.
He reportedly died in Owerri today.
He had few days ago cried out tor help over kidney ailments.
He was seen in a video posted by another actor who narrated Muonagor’s deteriorating condition and sought for Nigerians’ assistance.
Apparently in a terrible , Muonagor’s to personally solicit for help by speaking in the video failed as his voice was barely audible due to the weight of the illness on him.
The news of his death was broken on X by a commentator, Morris Monye, on Sunday.
Monye had posted “Deeply heartbroken by the news of Amaechi Muonagor’s passing.
“He was a talented Nollywood actor whose presence on our screens was truly masterful.
“We watched with concern as he battled health issues, offering whatever support we could to help him seek treatment in India.“
Born in 1962, Muonagorwas an actor and producer.
In 1989, after his youth service, Muonagor started working for the News Agency of Nigeria. He left his job a few years later for an acting role in his first movie as Akunatakasi in Taboo 1, a Nigerian movie.
In 2016, he was nominated for AMVCA 2017 Best Actor in a comedy.
