A caretaker, Yunusa Isyaku, has on Monday dragged a tenant, Nuhu Jimoh, to Upper Customary Court sitting at Daura Road, Kaduna state over alleged refusal to leave the house after giving notice.
The complainant prayed court to compel the defendant to leave the premises located at first care multi-specialist hospital Kawo, Kaduna and pay him two months’ rent arrears.
Isyaku explained that the rent was N155,000 per annum as such, the defendant would pay him N25,830 for two months that he stayed after the rent expired.
The Judge, Patience Musa, asked the defendant if he had agreed to the complaint, he answered with yes.
He however prayed to be given more time before vacating.
The Judge ruled that the defendant should leave within 14 days, failure to do so execution would be levied against him.
