Nigerian socialite and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has dropped his Imo governorship aspiration while declaring interest in the House of Representatives seat.
Cubana Chief Priest announced his decision to drop the governorship aspiration for the Orsu/Orlu and Oru East Federal Constituency seat at the green chamber.
He called for the support of the Imo APC stakeholders while expressing his readiness to be responsive to the needs of the party.
The Imo State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement made this known during a courtesy visit to the newly elected state executives of the party on Monday at the APC secrtariat in Owerri.
While congratulating the executives over their election victory, Cubana Chief Priest harped on the need to collectively work together for the progress of the party as he declared his House of Representatives ambition.
“Congratulations on on your emergence to pilot our great party to greater heights.
“We must achieve all we have to achieve collectively as brothers and sisters and party people and above all, as Nigerians.
“I also want to use that opportunity to make you people know that I will be running for the office of the Federal House of Reps.
“All I’m asking is for your blessings. I want you to know that I’m one call away from anything that has to do with our party.
“I also want to us that opportunity to make you people know that I am one call away from anything the party needs.” He said.
The executives in reaction lauded the socialite’s contribution to the state, especially through the City Boy Movement as they declared their support for him.
