Former Governor of Lagos State and a presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has said that Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State could not have been governor today if not through his magnanimity.
Tinubu, who was speaking in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital on Thursday as part of his round up visitations to delegates, looked back at where the Governor was seated and told the governor and the audience, “That one sitting there, behind me, Dapo, he could not have been Governor if not for me.”
This had drawn loud applause from the audience some of who either hailed or frowned at the statement.
The former Governor of Lagos State also is almost 25 years now that he had been serving some people.
He did not name those he referred to.
Tinubu said there is nothing anyone can use to disqualify him adding that if its education, he is well educated and prepared.
He said he had come to the rescue of others like former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Atiku Abubakar and others.
He said “It is my turn to be president.”
