Nigerian afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted his wife, Chioma Adeleke, a $300,000 worth of wristwatch at their white wedding held in Miami, United States.
In what had seen labelled a total shutdown and star-studded wedding, Davido walked Chioma down the aisle in another glamourous white wedding which the music artiste estimated to have cost him $3.7 million.
The 32-year-old singer would, in a heart-melting moment captured in a video shared on X on Monday, presented a customized coated diamond Richard Mille wristwatch to Chioma.
As estimated in the post, the wristwatch value in Naira costs over N456 million.
The event was well-attended by high profile Nigerians from the entertainment and business industry.
NPO Reported the arrival of popular Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana, and his wife ahead of the event on Sunday.
Several other big names and political bigwigs were also in attendance, including Osun State Governor and uncle to Davido, Ademola Adeleke.
As expected, the Osun governor again stole the spotlight with his famous dance.
Also present at the event were Nigerian billionaire and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, Imo State Governor, Alex Otti, and former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, amongst others.
The wedding also music performances from legendary Nigerian singer, DBanj, who jeered the crowd with his one of his famous songs, Oliver Twist.
